Message	for two reasons. It can hold two seperate programs which is nice, and the other thing which is really important to me. It saves the settings that you had in it before when you remove the battery. All others delete the settings which sucks. Kuruayamamotoring or something.com ( where I got mine) sells the new ones for $219.00. Also, several other places sell the new ones for low $200s as well. Good luck man.
